Be used to: ejercicios para aprender a usarlo bien

A veces el inglés es sencillamente raro y no parece haber razón alguna para decir las cosas de la manera que se dicen. Este es el caso de be used to, used to y get used to ya que son tres verbos que confundimos a menudo. En este post hemos recopilado algunos ejercicios para practicar sus diferencias.

 

La Teoría

Brevemente, os recordamos que:

• Be used to: se usa para hablar de algo a lo que estamos acostumbrados, de nuestros hábitos y se usa en una estructura be used to + v-ing  y se usa en tiempo presente

• Used to: también se usa para hablar de hábitos y cosas que solían ser de un cierto modo, pero en el pasado. La estructura es diferente: used to + infinitive verb.

• Get used to: se usa para hablar de una situación a la que nos estamos adaptando, de un proceso de cambio; la estructura es get used to + v-ing.
