Frases en inglés traducidas que oirás en el trabajo

Si lees habitualmente este blog sabrás que nos gusta daros posts con frases útiles para distintas situaciones. Aunque solo estudiando frases no podrás aprender inglés, siempre está bien tener una serie de estructuras en la cabeza para no quedarse bloqueado a la hora de la verdad. En este post os hemos dejado algunas expresiones que escucharéis habitualmente cuando estéis en el trabajo, para que no perdáis detalle. En esta ocasión nos vamos a centrar en aspectos más sociales del día a día del trabajo.

Welcome to… – Bienvenido a…

• Did you have any trouble finding us? – ¿Ha tenido problemas para encontrarnos?
• I’ll take you around to meet the team – Le voy a presentar al equipo
• I’d like you to meet… – Me gustaría presentarle a…
• It’s a lovely space! – Es una oficina preciosa.
• Would you like something to drink? – ¿Le gustaría beber algo?

Learning the rules and customs

• What are the working hours? – ¿Cuál es el horario de trabajo?
• Is it OK to call colleagues by their first name? – ¿Se puede llamar a  los compañeros por su nombre de pila?
• Is there a dress code in the office? – ¿Hay un código de vestimenta en la oficina?
• How long do we have for lunch? – ¿Cuanto tiempo tenemos para el almuerzo?

Asking for help

• Could you do something for me? I need… – ¿Podrías hacer algo por mí? Necesito…
• Could you possibly..? – Sería posible que…
• Would you mind V+ing . . . .? – Te importaría…
• Can you spare me a few minutes? – ¿Podrías dedicarme unos minutos?
• Could I ask you a favor? – ¿Puedo pedirte un favor?
• If you are not busy, I could use your help. – Si no estás ocupado, me vendría bien tu ayuda.

Communication problems
